Planning and Development Control

All applications for new development, or changes and additions to existing property, are dealt with by the local planning authority (Harborough District Council - tel. 01858 821100). But copies of all applications are sent to the Parish Council for comment and the Council's views can be influential in deciding the outcome of individual applications.

Details of applications currently in the pipeline can be found on Harborough's planning website. Click here to visit the site and when you get there scroll down to the 'Planning Applications List' and/or the 'Planning Decisions List'.

Copies of planning applications can be viewed in the Council Office next to the Village Hall. If you would like to know more about the progress of an individual application please contact Jo Carr on 01455 285655.
