FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000The Freedom of Information Act gives you access to a wide range of information produced and held by the Parish Council. This page gives details of the information available. Other information may be available on request although the Parish Manager and Clerk to the Council has the right to withhold information in the public interest. The Parish Council is also obliged to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. ![]() Council Practice and ProcedureThe Minutes of Council Meetings can be found by clicking on the appropriate date in the Meetings Calendar. All other procedural documents relating to Council business, including agendas, Standing Orders, and supporting papers to Council meetings, can be viewed at the Parish Council Office. Agendas for forthcoming meetings are displayed on Parish Council Noticeboards. Code of ConductMembers' Declarations of Acceptance of Office and the Register of Members' Interests are available in the Parish Council Office. Employment Practice and ProcedureDetails of the Parish Council's staffing structure, job descriptions, and conditions of employment can be viewed at the Parish Council Office. The Parish Council's equal opportunities and health and safety policies are also available for inspection. Planning and Development ControlAll planning applications are posted on Harborough District Council's website, but copies can be viewed in the Parish Council Office. The Parish Council's response to planning applications can be found in the Minutes of the Planning and Licensing Committee (just click on the appropriate date in the Meetings Calendar). Audit and AccountsThe following information is available from the Parish Council Office: Annual Returns Details of all financial transactions are also available, including all receipts and payments. Details of the Parish Council's fees and charges can be found by clicking on the appropriate heading on the Parish Services page. The Parish Council is unable to release commercially sensitive information such as quotations and tenders, loan documentation and insurance policies.
